Appendicular mass

This was a 55 year old lady who presented with history of acute RIF pain 10 days ago and a dull pain at present.

On clinical examination a mass was palpable in the Right iliac fossa.

Ultrasound of the liver, gall bladder , pancreas and spleen revealed no abnormality.

  1. Great Pictures! Did you get Pathology results? Besides acute rlq pain, can you share patient’s labs and any other symtoms. Were there any pulsewave doppler images done? WHat type of flow did you get? Oh one more question, just curious, why the the liver and right kidney picture was reversed? Thanks for sharing, I love learning from case studies. Sarah
