This was a lady in her mid twenties ; gravida 3 with 2 abortions ( at 2 months of GA , each time ) was referred for evaluation of dangling choroid plexus and ? amniotic strand dividing the uterus .
Scan showed dangling choroid plexus
BPD and HC increased TO > 97.7 %TILE with prominent hydrocephalus
lateral ventricles and the 3rd ventricle are dilated.
the 4th ventricle and the cisterna magna appear to be normal.
the level of obstruction is likely to be between the 3rd and the 4th ventricle .
the spine appeared to be normal.
the thorax and the abdominal organs appeared to be normal.
An amniotic band was seen .

This patient in my view had obstructive hydrocephalus ( with the level of obstruction between 3rd and 4th ventricles )
A prominent amniotic band was seen , with the right shoulder of the fetus ? attached to the amniotic band .
The patient wanted a second opinion and was referred . Yet to receive further information.
